• The Alpha Phi Foundation was started in the 50's by women of Alpha Phi in the hopes of fostering the philanthropic ideals of our original founders. Their main goal today is supporting cardiac care and research to highlight the importance of cardiac health. Heart disease is the #1 killer of women in America, and since its inception the foundation has donated over one million dollars to this cause. In each philanthropy event we hold, all proceeds are donated to our foundation, which then donates to major groups such as the American Heart Association who also work to fight this disease. At Delta chapter we understand the importance of our Foundation's mission, and we strive to contribute as much as we can.

The Alpha Phi Heart-to-Heart Grant is donated to fund various research/educational programs that seek to understand the causes, symptoms, prevention, and treatment of heart disease.

Service and volunteer work outside of the Alpha Phi Foundation is also very important to us. Not only do we put together our own events, but our chapter actively participates in those of other houses/groups as well. We often partner with fraternities or other sororities to give back to the community while promoting inter-house relations.
